  Major League Baseball begins on the first Sunday in April and what better way to kick off the spring season than a live game at AT&T Park, home of the San Francisco Giants. The park itself offers breathtaking views of the bay while the game provides hours of exciting entertainment. Ball game tickets can be purchased directly through the Giant's official website or by contacting ticket services.

CONSERVATORY OF FLOWERS

  Stroll among a wide variety of brightly colored blossoms at this historic San Francisco landmark in Golden Gate Park. Since 1879 The Conservatory of Flowers has displayed many rare tropical flowers and plants from around the world. On the first Tuesday of every month admission is free to all visitors. Tues-Sun 10:00am-4:00pm parking $2.50 per hour.

GARDENS OF ALCATRAZ TOUR

  The Gardens of Alcatraz tour is unknown to most visitors to the bay area. On this tour you will see all of the restored gardens, including those that are off limits to most visitors. Although the island is open year round, spring is the best time to see the gardens. The docent-led tours are conducted twice a week on Friday & Sunday mornings at 9:30am, starting at the Alcatraz dock. Ferry tickets must be purchased through Alcatraz Cruises 415-981-7625

  SF Arts Market offers a diverse selection of unique handmade arts, crafts, literature, and interactive work throughout the day. You will find jewelry made from gears & watch parts, clocks made from bike parts, beautiful one of a kind paintings, prints and postcards, custom air-brushed t-shirts & so much more! You can also enjoy snacks from a variety gourmet food trucks as well as live musical entertainment . Thursdays 11:00am - 5:00pm

STOW LAKE BOAT & BIKE RENTALS

  Stow Lake is a small recreation area inside Golden Gate Park where the fun activities are endless. This is the perfect place to celebrate spring as you can rent paddle-boats or bicycles while taking in the fresh air and admiring the beautiful new blooms and picturesque landscape. **Cash only.
